Now take a good look at the lists you have made. These are your qualifications. At least as far as what you can offer to an employer. You should take a little more time to go over the steps one or two more times and write down more accomplishments, skills and experience to improve this qualifications profile. Often, on the second time, and even third time, going through the exercise you will think of other things. Write them down as they come to you! Most people never take the time to look as closely at themselves from this angle as you just have. They think they are not good at anything. They think they are only average. I guarantee you have skills and accomplishments that I do not. You must get them out of your head, out of your history, and write them down. Only then will you really be able to see yourself. Only then will you truly understand your qualifications. Now, the next step is to use this qualifications profile to create a full-fledged resume. However, you have already taken that first and most important step. Now, it is a simple matter of taking the information you have listed and placing it into a proper resume format. That is the easy part.
The objective statement indicates what job(s) or position(s) the applicant is interested in. This is very important because hiring managers usually need to place a lot of people in more than one job category. The last thing you want to happen is for your application to be drafted in the wrong job slot. The achievements portion of the cover letter is also a summary of the achievements already listed in the resume. A bulleted list of four most significant achievements/accomplishments is a safe inclusion in any cover letter. Make sure that your closing statement ends in a positive note. It's supposed to express you heartfelt hopes of being part of the company you're pursuing.
They don't cost you anything: It is stating the obvious when you say that free resume templates don't cost you a thing, but this acquires special significance when you consider just how much money you will end up saving. A professionally written resume can be really steep and can set you back by as much as a hundred dollars! And going in for the cheaper ones may not produce the results that you want; you may wish you had done the job yourself and saved some money! Also, engaging a professional resume writer will require you to invest several hours of time in briefing them about your qualifications and then making adjustments/modifications to drafts.
